Wayfare Tavern

Wayfare Tavern was opened in 2010 by celebrity Chef Tyler Florence, and has since then earned a name for itself as a go-to spot for reinvented American classics. Serving up sophisticated comfort food with a slight French slant, Florence's menu consists of updated yet time-tested combinations including a locally renowned buttermilk brined chicken and a Green Goddess salad, the recipe for which Florence attained from the family of Philip Roemer who invented the dressing back in 1923.
