Dinner Party at Hotel Figueroa

On October 4th, The Supper Club invited Los Angeles members to a whimsical dinner party at the historic Hotel Figueroa in Downtown LA. Guests enjoyed a first glimpse of the stunning newly transformed space with Spanish Colonial architectural details like arched windows, ironwork chandeliers, and an original limestone fireplace from the 1920s.
On arrival, guests glided into the impressive Gran Sala room for a Maestro DOBEL Tequila cocktail reception, featuring the ‘Sueño’ and ‘Flor del Campo’, as they mixed and mingled with fellow members. For the main event, ladies and gentlemen took their seats at one long table decorated with oversized multi-colored orchid floral arrangements and flickering tapered candlesticks.
Dinner was a delicious feast of locally sourced, Basque influenced cuisine by James Beard Award nominee Chef Casey Lane. From the braised beef short rib to the seasonal paella washed down with Matthiasson Wines, taste-buds were tantalized. For dessert, a delicious Maestro DOBEL ‘Abuelo’ cocktail was teamed up with churros with chocolate sauce, dulce de leche and seasonal jam, while French songstress Adele Jacques and her band dazzled guests with a special performance. The energy was electric! The table took to the dance floor to twirl the night away as the band played out their tunes. It was a night to remember.
