A Winemaker Supper Soiree at Wayfare Tavern

Jul 17 2019

On Wednesday, July 17th, The Supper Club hosted San Francisco members to a Winemaker Supper Soiree at one of the top hotspots in town— Wayfare Tavern. Located in the heart of the financial district, this bustling destination welcomed SF members, whisking them up the elevator to the adored Bartlett private dining room for the evening. Once inside the airy and inviting space adorned with dark wood accents, velvet curtains and a jaw dropping glass wine cellar as the backdrop, members mixed and mingled over Jamieson Ranch wines, toasting to a memorable evening ahead alongside Jamieson Ranch’s award-wining winemaker, Linda Trotta. Once a few crisp glasses of the 2018 Silver Spur Sauvignon Blanc and 2018 Reata Rose of Pinot Noir were enjoyed, guests took their seats down the long candle lit table, accompanied by stunning peony arrangements that floated amongst the twinkling lights.

As our guest of honor, Linda Trotta, mesmerized the crowd with her story and passion for wine, the family-style supper began, paired to absolute perfection with Jamieson Ranch 2017 Reata Cold Creek Chardonnay and 2016 Silver Spur Napa Valley Chardonnay for the starter course, 2016 Reata Pedregal Vineyard Pinot Noir and 2016 Double Lariat Cabernet Sauvignon with the mains and last but not least, the 2016 Versada Petite Sirah and 2017 Reata Aurelius White Blend for the decadent desserts. As upbeats tunes softly filled the air and friendships began to bud, we raised one last toast to all of the memories made around the table together and all the amazing ones to come.
