A Glenfiddich Flamenco Dinner Soirée

Oct 17 2019

Members gathered right before sunset for Supper Club’s Glenfiddich Flamenco Dinner at 1102 EAST, located in the heart of historic East Austin. Live flamenco music filled the air, as guests sipped cocktails with us beneath the canopy of 100 year-old pecan and native elm trees.

For the main event, Chef Arteta of Mi Paella brought the flavors of his native Spain to the table by cooking larger than life specialty paellas from scratch, opening the floor to conversation, awe, smells, and a true sharing of an evening alongside Glenfiddich Whisky pairings. Amid the exquisite planted vessels, lush green vine covered walls, and eclectic yet modern elements, members forgot that we were in the heart of East Central Austin and got lost in the garden and music.

After dinner, Flamenco dancers performed a final show as guests gathered around the campfire cheersing one another to the arrival of fall with whisky cocktails in hand. This evening was one for books!
