A Day of the Dead Party

Nov 02 2019

Goblins! Ghosts! Creatures of the night…The Supper Club cordially summoned Los Angeles members to a Day of the Dead celebration at the hauntingly stunning Hollywood Hills home of fellow member and interior designer, Mae Brunken. Starring as the home of Phyllis Dietrichson in Billy Wilder’s “Double Indemnity,” Mae’s 1927 Spanish Colonial Revival was the perfect noir setting for an evening of ever eternal mischief and merrymaking...

Members entered at their own risk and checked their identities at the door. A candlelit space covered in marigolds met the eye as guests roamed the Mediterranean-inspired courtyard under the stars while indulging in bone-chilling Monkey Shoulder and Milagro cocktails, crisp Whispering Angel rosé and a Xicama CBD beverage. Throughout the evening, to die for hors d’oeuvres were on offer to sink your teeth into. The evening ended on a high note in the stunning drawing room where a wild dance floor filled with fellow phantom members kicked off to DJ tunes and a live conga player. It was a magical evening of fabulous costumes, fantastic conversation in a delightful quintessential Los Angeles setting.
