The Supper Club launched the non-profit Music Unites in Los Angeles with an elegant dinner party at YXTA Cocina Mexicana the night before the charity’s big VIP Opening Party at the House of Rock. The mission of Music Unites in Los Angeles is to raise funds to implement after-school music education programs in inner city school districts.
Upon arrival, Supper Club members and VIPs conversed over Partida Tequila cocktails and award winning Bodega Norton Barrel Selects Cabernet and Malbec, whose chief winemaker was just named “Winemaker of the Year” by Wine Enthusiast Magazine.
A little ways into the fantastic Mexican fare spanning Guacamole, Shrimp Taquitos and Assorted Empanadas; and before the mouth watering Grilled Salmon with Cilantro Pesto, Tacos Al Pastor, Chile Rellenos and Chicken Mole Enchiladas, Music Unites Founder, Michelle Edgar and others spoke about the charity and their exciting expansion from east coast to west coast. Music Unites Youth Choir Member Candace Camacho gave a compelling live performance and guests departed inspired by what Music Unites is accomplishing and vociferous in their love for YXTA’s flan!
