by Tamsin Lonsdale Holiday Dinner Party at Lexington Social House

Hollywood’s Lexington Social House hosted Supper Club members for the LA chapter’s last dinner party of the year. Welcomed at the venue’s outside marble bar by Pisco Porton cocktails, members caught up and shared holiday plans spanning Germany to Thailand.

Once seated inside the dining room, an environment where old textures blend with contemporary art and design, conversation was the centerpiece at the table! Dinner highlights of the amazing Rustic Modern American cuisine by Exec. Chef Mette Williams included Hamachi Collar, Scottish Salmon and Short Ribs with Creamy Polenta and Sautéed Mushrooms. The Solsticio Malbec and Gran Altura Torrontes wines accented the meal perfectly.

A playful and mischievous Yankee Swap game accompanied The Monkey Bread dessert, carrying The Holiday Spirit to the very end of the night!

by Tamsin Lonsdale Dinner with Marilyn

Surrounded by larger than life images of Marilyn Monroe taken on the set of her last movie, “Something’s Gotta Give,” Supper Club members enjoyed a four-course meal in the pop up restaurant at the Duncan Miller Gallery. Chef Josh Gil presented an innovative modern interpretation of Marilyn Monroe’s actual favorite foods, including an ale steamed mussel soup, with potato and warm aioli and grilled hangar steak with A2 sauce.

Veev Acai Spirit served Marilyn inspired cocktails and Vampire Vineyards provided a delicious Je T’Aime Rose Champagne, Chateau du Vampire Cabernet Sauvignon and Chateau du Vampire Roussanne that blended perfectly with the menu. Members stayed hydrated with Smartwater and enjoyed Camacho Cigars on the patio after dessert.
